Cal's Coats for Kids 2001 Results

We are pleased to report the final results for the 2001 Cal’s Coats for Kids drive.  Our sincere thanks to all those who donated.

 

Total Coats Collected:  7,737

Distribution of coats begins on Tuesday, October 30th at the following area distribution centers.

 

2001 School Challenge Results

As reported by Cal Sisto on NewsChannel 6, the following schools are the winners for this year’s school challenge.

Extra Effort Award Grand Rivers Elementary 1.12 coats per student
$500 Grand Prize Winner         Smithland Elementary

The Extra Effort Award goes annually to the school that brings in the most coats per student.  The Grand Prize winner is drawn from a pool of all schools bringing in 100 or more coats.  This year we had 20 schools entered in the Grand Prize Drawing!  The $500 prize is courtesy of Owen Cleaners and NewsChannel 6.
