2002 Final Results

We are pleased to report the final results for the 2002 Cal’s Coats for Kids.  Our thanks to all who donated or assisted in this year's effort.

 

Total Coats Collected:  6,589

 

 Distribution of coats begins on Tuesday, October 29th at the following area distribution centers.

 

2002 School Challenge Results

As reported by Cal Sisto on NewsChannel 6, the following schools are the winners for this year’s school challenge.

Middle School Paducah Middle School 213 Coats
High School Mayfield High School 195 Coats
Extra Effort Award St. Mary Middle School 1.11 coats per student
$500 Grand Prize Winner         Benton Middle School

The Extra Effort Award goes annually to the school that brings in the most coats per student.  The Grand Prize winner is drawn from a pool of all schools bringing in 100 or more coats.  This year we had 20 schools entered in the Grand Prize Drawing!  The $500 prize is courtesy of Owen Cleaners and NewsChannel 6.  Congratulations to this year's winners!
