Owen Cleaners was featured in the cover story for the November/December issue of myBusiness magazine.  This is a publication of the National Federation of Independent Businesses. The magazine was sent to over 600,000 small businesses nationwide.

David Perry, president of Owen Cleaners, was pictured on the cover of the magazine holding up two American flags.

It has been a longstanding practice of Owen Cleaners to clean American flags for free. The article mentioned that this is just one of many ways that small businesses give back to their communities. The article also cited Owen Cleaners for its annual Cal's Coats for Kids drive. This joint project with Cal Sisto and NewsChannel 6 just completed its 15th year. Including the 2001 results, approximately 63,000 coats have been donated and cleaned for deserving area families over the years.
